Experience
- Moritz heads the Private Equity coverage within Corporate Finance supporting Private Equity clients in buy- and sell-side situations as well as acting as first point of contact into the KPMG organisation
- In addition, he leverages his experience in China and plays a leading role at KPMG CF Germany and in Europe in advising Chinese and European clients on transactions from and to China
- Until October 2009 he worked almost two years as partner at Granville Baird as an investor in mid market companies in the German speaking region. Beside his investing activities he was also taking care of portfolio companies and had regular interaction with fund investors
- From 2001 to 2007 he was part of the KPMG Corporate Finance team being based in Shanghai, China for one year in 2007. In that role he has worked on many M&A transactions involving listed and private companies as well as Private Equity funds
- The first 3 ½ years of his professional career he worked in KPMG’s audit department in Frankfurt. He has detailed knowledge of German as well as international accounting standards
